We are on a mission to discover the next generation of professional motorsport talent.  Our ‘NXT GEN challenge ‘ is a sim racing esports competition designed for boys and girls of school age under 19. You can undertake the NXT GEN Challenge by booking either a Schools Out or Arrive and Drive session online. 

SCHOOLS OUT

Our Schools out sessions are now available at 4pm and 5pm every weekday throughout the year. You'll get a 1 hour session in either a Formula 4 car or Formula 1 car. It's the Formula 4 car that features in our junior esports competitions. Weekend sessions are also available on Sunday at 12pm.

The Challenge: F4 Hotlap at Silverstone

Our NEXT GEN  Challenge is a competition where drivers take on the legendary Silverstone Grand Prix circuit in a modern Formula 4 single seater race car. Your fastest lap will be recorded and feature on our online leaderboard, with the Top 25 in each age category displayed in venue. You can book as many sessions as you like until August 31, 2025. Winners from each age group will be crowned at the end of the summer and awarded a custom trophy. A permanent reminder of your achievement.

No experience, no Problem.

To enter, you must:

• Be aged under 19 (school age)

• Age categories (13 and under, 14-16, 17-18)

• Live in the UK

• Be at least 1.45m tall

No prior racing or sim experience is needed. Our team will guide you every step of the way.

Professional-grade simulation

VRROOM is equipped with 12 cutting-edge motion racing simulators—the very same type used by professional drivers for training. Each rig features:

• Haptic direct drive steering wheel

• Esports-grade pedal set

• Sparco bucket seat

• Triple 55-inch 180 degree wrap around display

Coming soon: NXT Gen F4 Grand Prix Championship

The NXT GEN hotlap challenge is just the beginning. We are launching an F4 Grand Prix Championship starting in the new School year, September 2025. Drivers who take part in the hotlap challenge will have an advantage heading into the championship series.

Schools, Get Involved

We’re inviting secondary schools across Sussex, Surrey, and Kent to be part of this grassroots sim racing esports series by offering every school a free field trip. Each school can bring 12 students free of charge, with additional sessions offered at a heavily discounted rate to encourage wider participation. You can contact john@vrroomracing for more details.
