AMR GBR Stratton Motorsport

VRROOM have teamed up with Aston Martin Racing and GBR Stratton Motorsport – currently contesting the British GT Championship, to bring you a new sim racing series.

The 2026 British GT Championship began with the Silverstone 500 on 26th April, with a three hour endurance race, featuring two drivers and a minimum of three pitstops. The GBR Stratton Motorsport AMR Vantage GT4 EVO finished second in class despite some set backs during the race.

VRROOM will be running a sim racing series that mimics the real British BT championship starting with a three hour Team Endurance Race at Silverstone on Saturday 20th June 2026. Teams of two or three drivers can compete for glory and a trophy co-branded with AMR GBR Stratton Motorsport.

In addition to endurance and championship race events we will also be running an Aston Martin ‘Time Attack’ series starting in May and running for several months. Set the fastest lap time to win a trophy. Our aim is reward drivers of all ages and abilities by creating driver classes to suit. Trophies will be awarded to both boys and girls aged 11+. You can choose to undertake the AMR "Hotlap challenge' as part of any Arrive and Drive, Schools Out (for Junior drivers only), Race Practice or Paddock Club session.

We are also planning to invite a number of prominent performers from all race series and Time Attack challenges to join us at Brands Hatch for the last race of the season in September 2026. You will get the chance to meet the team, see the AMR GT4 race car closeup and join in the celebrations as GBR Stratton Motorsport celebrate their first year competing in the British GT Championship.

Stratton Motor Company is a thriving performance car dealership, occupying a large ten-acre site just South of Norwich, complemented by a further fifteen-acre site housing their Motorsport Division; Stratton Motorsport. Over the years the operation has grown into a respected and successful motorsport entity running Aston Martin GT4’s across the UK and Europe.

Recently Stratton Motorsport has entered a new joint venture with GBR Motorsport, Scotland’s most successful single seater racing team, to compete in the British GT Championship, marking an exciting new chapter built on decades of heritage, engineering excellence and competitive success.
